BEEP. You Have :-3976-: Messages.
I apologize for not being as frequent as I should, I've just been so tied up with school and the ministry me and a friend have been working towards. Although this is old news by now, yes, I am now a Youth Minister at my church. It feels so great to lead other people my age in the right direction. In fact, I've made many a good number of lessons and sermons (maybe 15), which I will eventually put up here. But, you readers are so special, wherever you may be, you get original messages made specifically for you.
Actually, the message title isn't just because I haven't been around in some time (again, SORRY!)
God and You. Father and Son. King and Prince (sorry for gender specificity, you know what I mean). This is your relationship with God. This is his relationship with You. I know I'm being repetitive, but for some reason, this is so hard for people to understand. People always forget that God is wholly("entirely", heh, I barely use that word) invested in you. 100%, but people are sometimes satisfied with very little percent or none at all. People forget that God wants the same back from you.
And, what kind of relationship is it when you don't even call? Or worst, yet, you come to church on sundays thinking you payed your weekly dues? That's not how a real, solid relationship works. Everybody knows that. So, why is it that people ignore that obvious fact when they're faced with the presence of God. You know, Jesus didn't die on the cross and resurrect from the grave because he left his wallet. He came back because he wanted to get that immense love he gave, in return, from the people he died for.
That is why you have to always pray and keep God in mind. (yes, even while watching the game or scarfing down a Meat Lovers footlong sub(alternative: Veggie Lovers footlong sub), whenever and all the time) It's not that hard, and you have no reason to avoid it. Because even though as humans, who delight in the things of the flesh, sin constantly, God doesn't see that when you confess to Him that he's the only good and that all that stuff is what's keeping you from Him. It's because, and excuse me to bring it up again, "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world". God always and only has good things for you when you pray. Praying is opening up your heart, and showing God what it desires, what you really want in your life through Him. But you don't get those things from hiding from Him, even if you've run off and come back, over and over and over, God will see that you are trying to love Him like you did before, and that you'll love Him more than ever before one day, and that's all that God asks.
People don't do it because prayer involves you to look in the mirror, and a lot of times people are afraid that if they look in the mirror, they won't like what they see. But that's the whole point. Be happy, because that means you need God, and he always wants to help you. What Father or Son or Husband or Wife wouldn't love to have the opportunity to do something wonderful for the one they love?
Even if you don't answer, God's always calling you. And, for all of you who don't think you call as often as you should, your answering-machine's piling up. Each message is a wonderful life-changing message that will impact you, because God knows your heart's deepest desires. But what good is a message if you don't hear it? It may sound like I'm oversimplifying here but I'm not: Why not open your presents at Christmas? If any reason at all, it'd be out of disappointment, but this is God. He made you, he knows exactly what you want.
So all you have to do is call, and pray, and listen, and answer. It's as simple as that.
God Bless You, Everyday.
Verse a Day, it's memorial day, so yes, it's a holiday. (Wow, that didn't really rhyme and I'm getting pretty cliche) <-AHA! I DID IT.
Psalm 15:1-2
1 LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary?
Who may live on your holy hill?
Who may live on your holy hill?
2 He whose walk is blameless
and who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from his heart.

I'm Not Dead Yet!...But I Used To Be...
I'm pretty sure you've all heard these verses, Christian or not, regardless of sect, but you know I love quoting the Bible whenever I can. But really, God never stops revealing things to you. Read it again, and listen, take it in. Think about your life and the life of others, people you love, people at sometimes you wish you didn't have to. Think about where you are, in the Light or the Dark:
John 3:16-21
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. 19This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."
If you've decided that you are in the Light, God bless you all your days. That you stand strong and firm on the road to heaven, but also plant as many seeds of Jesus in the hearts of people who yearn for happiness, and as many as possible, because THIS is what makes God proud. God wants to look at you and say "This is my son, whom I love, look at all the wonderful things he does in the name of his father.". Be that son, be the light, not just for your soul, but for the entire world.
And, if you think your still in the Dark, it's okay. Your already one step closer, admitting to still living in the dark, out of true happiness and without true love. But as it said, he didn't send his son to condemn the world, but to save it. Coming out of the darkness isn't about cleansing your sins. It's about coming into the light with all of them, saying, "Father, this is my life in front of you," and it's about putting down all your sins on the table and saying "God, this is all I have and all I am. I know it's not much and I know it's all wicked things that don't like, but these are the sins I have, this is my situation, help me work with this, because I know that on my own, I can't accomplish anything. Take me sins, turn my rags into riches. I want to make you proud, Jesus, I want you to walk by me so that I can stay in the light.
Noone's holy under the light. We're still humans, and we still make mistakes. We still struggle, and sometimes we sway off into the dark. But being in the light is accepting that you need God in your life to keep you on course towards true happiness and joy. Just like the sun each day, the light is new, it holds new promises and blessings.
But the most important thing to stay in the light is this: Each day, fall in love with Jesus Christ again. In this way, you become stronger and more courageous, you become a new creation, and the past does not hold you back. Learn to love as he has, and he'll return it tenfold.
-God Bless You, Guys, whoever you readers are, and stay faithful.
(And please, gimme a little comment or two on what I've said and if it's had an impact on you, I'm a little more motivated to post when I know theres someone listening.) ;)

3 when his lamp shone upon my head and by his light I walked through darkness!
4 Oh, for the days when I was in my prime, when God's intimate friendship blessed my house,"
John 3:16-21

Blind Faith, Not Just A Band
I was having a discussion today with some friends of mine who were questioning how anybody could beleive some of the seemingly-ridiculous and illogical things in the Bible, and I thought I made a good point on how blind faith works. After their confused and almost-distressed remarks, I told them this:
Blind faith is pointless if theres no portion of the picture you can see. Everyone needs a certain amount of faith before they can even beleive things from the Bible could have happened how they're described. And, if I believe that God had everything in control when he let Satan come to earth, or that man was created from the dust of the earth, which I wholeheartedly do believe, because I know God has a pretty damn good reason for it, my question to you would be: So what if I do? Is my faith, my devotion, or my love for God weakened? No. In fact, its strengthened, solely for the reason that you ridicule and make those who beleive so suffer. If not for that, it would mean NOTHING to us. Because either way, we know that all the love's there, and it always has been. If God says he has good intentions for my life and for the lives of all who've followed him in the past, present, and future, I can believe what he says, and what his messengers filled with the Holy Spirit have written, because God gives people the gift of faith. He can't just promise you wonderful things and not give you anything to sustain you. Faith is daily strengthened through things we do understand, but after that first bit of faith, its up to you to have blind faith, even for things you could learn tommorrow, and in the same way, things not in your lifetime.
It's okay, because you need the Holy Spirit to understand any of God's words. Without it, you are 'blind'. I would say I understand how without the Holy Spirit, you could beleive God doesn't exist, but I can't, I just see too many holes and false walls. Its like me saying I could understand how someone believes they could breathe without oxygen...but I can't. I don't know about you, but I gave up my stubborn pride a long time ago, and it worked out as the best decision I had ever made in my life, because I see the peices of the puzzle coming together, and I don't think theres any reason you could tell me theres going to be peices missing, because you don't know that, and so far I haven't seen any reason why not. And until I do, I'm not going to worry about it.
God Bless ya'll, and have a Happy Groundhog Day! (...I always seem to post on some sort of holiday...)

Friendship, Relationyacht, Same Thing...
I know alot of people who spend all their time looking for relationships, of the intimate kind, or however they go about showing affection, atleast whats legal in 50 states, I hope. Theres actually a really fine line between a friendship and a relationship, which is why so many people get into problems.
The divorce rate in America is 50%, 9/10 of all relationships don't last. But in all sincerity, if you don't know the difference between friendship and relationships, if you don't know what you want, the numbers are always going to be 100%. Always. Its not a matter of finding your other half, but of finding YOUR half. You honestly have to ask yourself who you are. Why would I be a partner and not just a friend? Why is this person perfect for me and noone else?
I can't answer that, you can't answer that, not even the person in question can answer that. God is the only person who can.
God promises only blessings for your troubles and your worries. You need to pray about these things. You need to tell Him, "Father, I've been feeling a little lonely in this world. If not because of our relationship, because I want someone on this earth to share your love with."
The Lord cares for you, he's loyal, and gives you nothing but love and has faith in you. That is both a friend and a partner. Use Him as your example. Be like Him and look for people like Him. The first step to that is turning in all those feelings of depression and loneliness, of those questions that worry and haunt you like "what if I never find someone?" or "will anyone ever truly love me?", and submit those feelings to God. Why? Because you know the answer to those questions. You know God is listening to your heart, and you know that he already truly loves you, so why would he let you down? By worrying, you become the only person able to let yourself down. You know what friendship is in God, so you know where to start looking for friends on this earth. Don't worry about looking so impatiently and desperately for someone to spend the rest of your life with, you already have God, just wait it out with him, and he won't disappoint you.
-God Bless You, and have great M(i)LK day.
[Since this subject is so broad and theres so much to say about it, I'm going to make a series of posts about it.]

(Proverbs 16: 9)
In his heart a man plans his course,
but the LORD determines his steps.

Christians, Catholics, and Doctrines, Oh My!
(I actually have no idea where that comes from, it's just fun to parody)
I had written out a few things before I got this blog started, it was a series I started call the The New Doctrine, helping people to understand the changes in life style from one group to another. So far, I've tackled Atheism, Catholocism, and Judaism, but by no means maliciously. These are things I say whole-heartedly, but I don't say it forcefully because I can understand where people are coming from, I know theres just little things that make a big difference. And, this isn't to attack anybody, this to free yourselves, to live even better lives in God! So, I'm gonna kick off this series with 2 "little" bits of it. Set sail!
-> The New Doctrine <-
Saints/Holy Men
All of you who ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength’ are saints, but they need no exaltation for their acts. Let God give them their just rewards and focus on your own, because a man of God lives for today, not yesterday.
Reformation
They say the reformation from the Catholic Church is considered ungodly, as a divorce. It is a sad separation, but not because those who have reformed were separated from their faith and God, nor was the relationship weakened. In fact, the relationship is strengthened. The sad part is on those who stayed in the Catholic Church. They call it a divorce, from the Holy Spirit, but it is actually just from the Church. In Genesis 13, Abram and Lot are travelling together and have a large dispute over which direction to take. Finally, Abram decided to separate from Lot’s direction.
Genesis13:8 So Abram said to Lot, "Let's not have any quarreling between you and me, or between your herdsmen and mine, for we are brothers. 9 Is not the whole land before you? Let's part company. If you go to the left, I'll go to the right; if you go to the right, I'll go to the left."
Abram had been weighed down by his friend, and even though they were close, he knew he had to separate himself from Lot, because he didn’t want his friend’s thoughts to take over his. And though he loved him still, they parted, because he knew that the way he thought and did things weren’t the best or even the right way to do them, because he knew God had greater plans for him. Now, we’re not abandoning or even rebuking the Catholic Church, nor do we even think Catholics can’t go to heaven. But it’s just harder that way. And not harder as in ‘Good for you, taking the harder, longer route’, but as in ‘Why did you break your leg before the race started on purpose?”. It isn’t that the Catholic Church worships the wrong God, but there are many unnecessary distractions that keep the relationship between The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit apart. The thing is the Church does have the right meanings and godly incentives towards it, but they are going back to the old doctrines. The Lord is a very personal God, he has different plans for everybody, but does it with the same love he gives all who love him.
-God Bless Us, Everyone. (...If I don't say it now, it'll be wierd in July, this is season appropriate.)
Verse a Day, cause we're buying a stairway~(to Heeeeeaven!)
Galatians 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Welcome Employee!
Something I always hear Christians(Both new and long-time) say is "What's my job?". Well, remember that you're one with God, you are a part of Him, so I'm gonna start with what isn't your job:
It's not your job to protect and be around your loved ones at all times.
It's not your job to wait for blessings and miracles to happen.
It's not your job to judge people.
It's not your job to worry about tommorrow.
It's not your job to seek revenge.
It's not your job to make the sun rise or make the sun set.
It's not your job to make the world go around.
And be glad that it isn't your job, because that's ALOT of pressure to put on one person. You only have one job, and Jesus says this is the most important of all the commandments:
Love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
If you've come to accept Jesus Christ as your personal lord and savior, you know what love is. And, that one command says it all. About life, love, friendship, trust, loyalty, charity, happiness. Do everything in life out of love, the love that Christ gave you, the one that he gives you everyday.
When you stop worrying, stop expecting impossible things from people, stop looking for the exit even when your in a good place, and start putting your trust in God, then you can do your job. Then, you can truly be a Christian.
-God bless you, and have a Merry Christmas!

Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.
